Global Fishers Investment maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding money laundering, proliferation financing, and terrorist financing. We enforce comprehensive Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and automated continuous transaction monitoring.
2. Customer Identification Programme (CIP)
Prior to activating any investment contract or processing deposits exceeding statutory thresholds, all investors must complete identity verification:
- Tier 1 — Individual Verification: Government passport or national identity card, real-time liveness biometric capture, and residential proof of address issued within the preceding 90 days.
- Tier 2 — Corporate / Institutional: Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum and Articles of Association, register of directors, and verification of all Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs) holding 10% or more equity.
3. Sanctions & Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) Screening
All accounts are dynamically matched against international sanction databases including the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), European Union (EU), UK HM Treasury (OFSI), and US OFAC. Accounts identified as PEPs are subject to senior compliance executive sign-off.
4. Source of Funds & Wealth Declarations
For investments exceeding $50,000, investors must provide documented verification demonstrating lawful source of capital (e.g. audited company dividends, real estate sale contract, inheritance declaration, or investment portfolio liquidity statements).
5. Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR)
Our designated Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) submits Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) directly to relevant financial intelligence authorities whenever irregular transaction patterns or structured deposits are detected, in strict compliance with tipping-off prohibitions.
